We are in such a unique industry as frames have a functional job but they also can be the first foray into a brand for a patient. The design behind a pair of frames can lead to a life long affiliation to a brand and can help transform an outfit, while also transforming the ability to see for a patient. On our latest episode of our podcast, New PerSPECTive, we wanted to dive into the creative process behind a pair of frames. How a design gets started, how a prototype is created and how it becomes part of the latest brand collection which is seen in your optical stores.

- How CARRERA started designing with the C Plaque on the front of the frame: “We are the only brand worldwide that puts the logo right on the front. This is incredible as when I started designing, people said don’t put it there it’s too risky. But CARRERA is bold, risky and daring and it works! We own this shape and it is unique to CARRERA.
